IT'S MY WILL, WITH ALL MY MIGHT
TO STAY STRONG, PUT UP A FIGHT
For a few moments, the station was completely silent, as if devoid of life. Then, like the rumbling of thunder in the distance, a low growl started, gradually growing louder and louder, its tone deepening as the seconds passed. And then, as if something had suddenly snapped, the growl erupted into a snarl, and a streak of white erupted from one of the open railcars. As the dog slowed, it was revealed to be a Kishu Inu, leaping and snapping at the air, as if it had somehow offended her.
The dog paused mid-snap and looked around, checking that no one was watching, a small smile crossing her muzzle. There was no real reason behind her sudden movement. She had simply had a sudden burst of energy, and decided to put it to use by practicing a few fighting moves. But it had done little to calm her.
Mizuki knew this feeling. It was the way she always felt when she wanted a fight. Her tail lifted as she sniffed the air, looking around once more. But whereas before, Mizuki had been checking no one had watched her, now she hoped to see another dog- any dog. It didn't matter the size, breed or age. She'd fight anyone, pup or adult, Chihuahua or Great Dane. Though, she supposed, bigger would be better- there'd be more of a challenge, and she'd have more to brag about in the future when she won.
There was no 'if' in Mizuki's mind. She was very certain she would win any fight she got into. And if she did happen to lose- as did happen often- she would conveniently forget the fight ever occurred. Such was the way of this particular Kishu Inu.
DON'T GIVE UP, I'VE COME THIS FAR
KNOW WHAT'S RIGHT, IN MY HEART
