It had been several months since she had met the female in the infirmary. Homicide never sought her out again, opting instead to take the advice she had received and run with it, literally. She was getting older, and the older she got the less she wanted to stay within Kekoa. She waited and watched since that day that Mhera gave her advice, and finally she decided it was time. Her brothers were still unaware of her plans to escape, although they knew that she did not want to live in Kekoa. Homicide continued to screech at them as if she were certain that her father would come for them. She had lost faith in her father coming for them, and knew that it was time for her to take matters into her own paws. Her brothers were off doing their own thing, keeping away from the bullying of their sister. She was much larger than them, and often used that to her advantage.
The mansion was quiet finally, everyone was tending to their duties. There were pups that had been taken in during the storm, but they didn't come out much. They were probably not allowed to leave, much like Homicide and her brothers. Homicide darted out into the hall, checking up the stairs in case something decided to happen out of character. Luckily for the large pup, everything was going as planned. She walked out of the front door, lowering her body into a stalking position. She continued in her lowered stance until she was down the steps of the front porch and safely behind some bushes that lined the driveway of the estate. So far, she had gone unnoticed. There were a few dogs outside, most of them doing maintenance and the others walking the perimeter to keep trespassers away. If she could get past their watchful eyes she would be in the clear. She walked down the drive, trusting the bushes to block her view.
She reached the perimeter of Kekoas grip and hugged the bushes, checking to make sure that the guard was unaware of her presence. The guard continued walking away from Homicide, her plan was going much better than she had even expected. She darted quickly from behind the bushes, and once she met the border of Kekoa, she bolted. Her ears flickered in hopes that she wouldn't hear footfalls behind her. A smile broke across her face, she was outside of the borders of Kekoa, for the first time in her life.
