"Oh you're too kind, really, but I must decline," Batting her eyes she softly smiled at the lab mutt who was currently giving her compliments to fill her pretty little head up. Most of her family appearances were homely, but she was one of the exceptions. She was pretty, a gorgeous mixture of greys and blacks with a white underbelly. She always carried herself with elegance and grace, for a fair maiden was she. "Yer suh pretteh, yew sure ya can't come with me?" The dog asked, did he really think he would have a chance with someone like her? In his wildest dreams, she would never dirty up Skoda blood with unworthy blood. "Unfortunately, no, I'm afraid my family would miss me far too much," He sighed and shook his head, trying once more to persuade her into coming with him. He was off to go explore different towns, different states, but the wolfhound mix was not convinced. Why would she take off with a stranger in the first place, especially someone who wasn't even remotely attractive to her? She disagreed with him once more, saying she was right at home here, amongst the condos.
He finally left, and she watched him turn the opposite direction with a brisk trot. Nerva giggled quietly to herself, finding his company utterly amusing but a waste of time. She could have fought and killed him, but she was in a good mood today. The sun was high, it was at least forty three degrees out and the snow had melted into little puddles. The city was wet, but it was getting warmer. The past winter had been a difficult one for most, but she managed just fine. The Skoda turned to look at an old condo building. It was two toned, an odd yellow colour on the top half and a rusty red at the bottom half. She walked into it, finding that despite the broken windows, the building still smelt stale. She couldn't place any of the scents inside, but she knew someone must've frequented the building at some point. A collection of dead opossums gave that away. As she went deeper into the building and up a set of stairs, a foul stench entered her nostrils. She crinkled her face, grossed out by the smell of decay. Moving down the halls, she turned into one of the rooms and was immediately disgusted. A rotting corpse lay in it's own dried up blood, it must've been at least a week old. He stomach lurched, and she turned out of the room, quickly walking away and to the next set of stairs. She ran up them, skipping a few steps until she was on the third floor. Nerva wandered into one of the apartments, disturbing the long settled dust. She hopped on the couch, looking out the window and surveying the land below. What a nice vantage point.
