”Well!” He yelled against the wind that mercilessly jostled his face, assaulting his eyes and nostrils. ”It’s definitely freezing out here, Eos!” Leander laughed aloud, but it was questionable, perhaps forced, in its humor. He cocked a smile over to Eos as he blinked away the drips of rain from his eyes. There was probably no reason to bother with that, as they went, as the rain was not stopping, and he was thoroughly saturated with water from head to toe. Shaking would only yield a second rain, one tainted with his wet dog stink; he would not subject his sister to that. Not just yet, anyway.
The big-boned male kept his gait steady with Eos’, as he always made sure to do in her presence (so much so that it was no longer intention as much as it was automatic), as they traveled their way together. ”But I guess I feel better helping out before we steal all of their blankets.” They'd come for shelter at the mansion, but did not stay; they'd left with the grace of the authority with Kekoa to provide their services. Leander had no intentions otherwise, despite his feigned reluctance. He would not sit by when he could be helping out, however he could. The police were out patrolling the city, so the least he could do was patrol around the mansion. Even if he had no love for Kekoa as a group, there were individuals within the group that kept bringing him back. Perhaps, if Mayella was not busy…
A branch snapped above, stealing him from his reverie. ”Woah, watch out there!” It blew by them, too far away to threaten. ”Or don't, I guess,” he shrugged with a sheepish grin. But he was back now, and he figured he ought to stay. The trees rattled savagely overhead, having lost their leaves quickly and early because of the sustained winds throughout the season. And today was not a day to get stuck outside, for any reason. ”Hello!” Leander cocked his chin up, looking up to the angry heavens through the intertwining boughs, and bellowing. A few more steps; he slipped to the side a few strides, sundered with the strong wind. ”Is anyone out there!”
Open, after Bird is the word posts with Eos! Kekoan or non-Kekoan welcome, they're trying to find any folks to bring back to the mansion for the storm.
