Arduinna's curious mind could not be easily contained to the small confines of the zoo. She needed some time for intellectual stretching, time away from the area that she knew to be home and to explore the new world that was all around her. Granted, she did not travel very far, for she knew how rude it would be to her family to run so far away and not tell them anything, so instead she mostly kept these meanderings to the nearby water park and especially the amusement park.
The massive structures of the amusement park filled Arduinna with great visions of the giant skeletons and the massive, interesting nature of the machines that must have existed before it became so desolate. She wanted to know everything about it, but nobody was ever there. It was the ghost of the land, and that allowed Arduinna to invent her own stories about what was going on in the past of long ago. It entertained her for some stretch of time, but in the end it left her ultimately unfulfilled: all of the huntress's ideas could not make up for the actual truth, the truth which was hiding from her somewhere in the deep land of the abandoned park.
At this time, she was playing amateur archaeologist, digging holes in the dirt around the rides and trying to uncover some archaic clue into what the life of the park had been like before it had been abandoned by all creatures. She had not found much so far: some coins, some bottle caps. It was really not much to be proud of, and the feeling of emptiness and lack of fulfillment kept going. There were things that she needed to know, mysteries that needed to be uncovered, and Arduinna would stop at nothing to learn.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
