Jimmy was in the heat of a chase, at least in his head. He was sprinting down the halls of an abandoned building, a large mastiff at his heels, savagely snarling and snapping at him. His body scrambled against the tiled floor, desperately trying to get away. The halls stopped, coming to a dead end with an outlet to the right. He tore down the outlet, again another dead end. He was cornered, the mastiff dog laughing manically, large jowls dripping drool that landed on the ground, splashing in each direction. He couldn't understand what the noises - the words - coming out of his mouth were. Voice was deep, guttural and threatening. Jimmy was backed further into the corner, his tail between his legs and eyes wide with fear as the dog drew his head closer to him. He was still speaking, cruelly teasing him and prolonging the fear. He was alone, and this was how he was going to die. The mastiff glowered at him, but Jimmy didn't know why he was angered. He grabbed Jimmy by his throat, thrashing him into the walls. Defenseless, and weak, Jimmy squealed.
He awoke inside an old car, laying on the tattered leather seats. Startled, confused, and a bit scared, he flipped onto his stomach. He was breathing heavily, tongue hanging as he panted and tried to calm himself down. Maybe the loneliness was getting to him, when he was with his family these dreams never happened, but they seemed to be about all he had been dreaming about these days. He should have gone back to the Casino last night, but he was so bored of the same old scenery he figured it'd be best to explore. A few minutes passed, and he looked out at the junkyard. It was empty, so he was at least safe for now. He pulled himself out of the car, stretching with a yawn before he began to aimlessly walk around. Jimmy hated being alone, but here he was.
