Well Willow wasn't exactly pleased about her new abode. She sat among the concrete walls and wrinkled her nose. Their cause was an interesting one and she couldn't tell whether she was devoted or not. She was devoted to her sister, yes, and she decided she would try to follow what her sister wanted to follow. She was resigned to believing that her sister would feel safe within these walls and among so many dogs willing to kill for pay. Willow found the work a tad shady, but if it was for Rayna's benefit she would keep her mouth shut. Besides, she had a job to do and a job was what she needed to keep her mind off of her past mistakes or the one she was currently making.
The little dog nosed the tiny piles of the few herbs she and Rayna could scrounge up with autumn now in full swing. The air was chilled but she could hardly feel it. In fact, she basked in the air hitting her face as she moved out of the medical room and into the hallway that lead to the outside. Willow had a job to do. Hail, the little blind pup, was looking to cultivate some skill. She couldn't blame her, but it was going to be a struggle to teach her how to track down the herbs or how to organize them if she couldn't even see them. Well her nose is working, Willow reminded herself coldly as she made her way to where the civilians like Hail usually stayed. It was her best bet for finding the girl.
Tzafar tore apart my pack, Willow thought bitterly to herself. These are her halls. Why am I here? The questions ran wild through her mind as she rounded a corner and let a sigh escape her maw. She didn't have to like Tzafar or Tempest as long as her job was done correctly and her sister was safe and near her. She couldn't separate herself from her kin again- she wasn't sure she could survive the heartache. "Hail?" Willow yelled down the hallway. She had learned from observing the child that soft words fell on (quite literally) deaf ears. In fact, she would probably have to check each room for Hail. "Hail! It's time to go," she yelled even louder, looking through each doorway until her voice was hoarse trying to get the girl's attention. She may not even be here, you doofus. Someone's going to walk around the corner and shout for me to lower my voice.
